WHO AM I ?
Kristin Rattigan
Chicago Counselor
Kristin grew up in Orland Park, Illinois and has lived in the city of Chicago for the last seven years. She received her Master’s of Psychology with a specialization in child development from Southern New Hampshire University. Chicago Counselor, Kristin, also holds a bachelor’s degree in social work from Illinois State University.
She has worked with children and adolescents in a variety of settings including private schools, therapeutic day schools, and in community programs. She also worked with children with Autism and developmental disabilities for several years.
Currently Kristin works with children and teenagers on a variety of concerns such as:
- Depression
- Anxiety
- Mood disorders
- Grief and trauma.
She has extensive training in strengthening executive functioning and building social skills in children.
Kristin uses positivity, compassion, empathy, and a growth mindset to help support clients. She is passionate about working with adolescents, children, and seeing them progress and thrive in their environment.
